About the position

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Medical Surgical Telemetry (M/S Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time travel contract position in Sioux City, IA. This role involves providing care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit, requiring a strong background in telemetry nursing. The position is set to start on December 1, 2024, and will last for 13 weeks, with shifts scheduled as 3x12 nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Active IA 6 SW Stepdown (10573) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
