About the position
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our travel team in Waterbury, CT. This full-time travel contract position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses to provide care in a dynamic environment. The role involves working 36 hours per week on a 3×12 night shift schedule, with a contract duration of 13 weeks, starting on November 25, 2024.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Active CT Labor & Delivery Room license (3340110601).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
