About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Mi Casa Nursing Center involves delivering quality nursing care to patients as part of an interdisciplinary team. The RN is responsible for evaluating patient needs, revising care plans, and providing clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). This role is crucial in ensuring that patients achieve and maintain their highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
- Evaluate patient needs through ongoing assessment and revise care plans based on changes in the patient's condition.
- Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs on a daily basis.
- Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing).
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State.
- Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
