About The Position

The Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery unit consists of 14 rooms, allowing patients to have the same nurse before and after their procedure when possible, thereby increasing continuity of care. This role requires previous critical care or recovery experience, strong clinical knowledge and skills regarding the perioperative experience, good organizational skills, the ability to multitask with frequent interruptions, flexible working hours, and a positive attitude with good communication skills. The nurse must be willing and capable of working in both pre- and post-operative areas and be committed to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current RN Licensure in the State of Kentucky
• BCLS required
• ACLS and PALS required
• Proficient in starting IV’s
• Minimum of one year RN experience in PACU or ICU setting

Nice To Haves

• Previous critical care or recovery experience

Responsibilities
