Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide professional nursing care.
- Incorporate patient-family centered care principles in all aspects of care.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients effectively.
- Document patient education and learning in health records appropriately.
- Collaborate with patients and families to develop care plans and teaching strategies.
Requirements
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed healthcare role.
