RN Perinatal

About the position

The WhidbeyHealth Family Birthplace (WHFBP) Perinatal RN at WhidbeyHealth is scheduled in WHFBP to provide core staffing in the department. The successful candidate recognizes that the patient is at the center of the healthcare team. The Perinatal RN may float to other areas of need in the hospital as determined by the Manager or House Supervisor as patient acuity and census merit. Weekend Duty/Holiday Rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide core staffing in the WHFBP department.
• Recognize that the patient is at the center of the healthcare team.
• Float to other areas of need in the hospital as determined by the Manager or House Supervisor.

Requirements

• Two years Labor and Delivery, Post-partum and Newborn care experience in the past three years.
• Successful completion of a Perinatal Trainee program or equivalent approved by Manager.
• Current CPR and NRP required.

Nice-to-haves

• BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Certification in perinatal specialty preferred.
