Responsibilities
- Manage quality patient care through the nursing process.
- Coordinate plan of care with the healthcare team.
- Assume leadership role for unit personnel and assist them with their responsibilities.
- Complete unit competency assessments and annual safety reviews.
- Maintain CPR certification and renewal of license by completing continuing education units as required by hospital policy.
- Pass clinical math exam prior to orientation to the unit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One year of experience in Acute Care Hospital PACU.
- California RN License.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
- PALS Certification.
- Quarterly AHA Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
