RN-Outpatient Team Nurse-SF - SFMC POB CARDIOLOGY

About the position

Provides high quality professional nursing services in a variety of settings. This position is part-time with a required need of 0.001 FTE, exempt from overtime, and the work schedule is during the days.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for nurse visits in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care for telephone triage in the ambulatory care setting per clinic staffing models.
• Responsible for Medication Refill Management as an agent of the provider using approved nursing protocols.
• Ensures safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care of patients.

Requirements

• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• Degree from accredited academic nursing program (minimum ADN with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire).
• Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred.
• Maintains current training in BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required for all.
• Additional requirements based upon area of service (e.g., Oncology Chemotherapy certification, ACLS, PALS).
• Minimum new graduate or experienced nurse from an accredited nursing program.
