About the position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Cynet Health focuses on providing high-quality care in the Operating Room (OR) setting. This role involves working with a variety of surgical cases and collaborating with a supportive team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position is structured for a 16-week duration with guaranteed hours, offering a unique opportunity for professional growth and networking within the healthcare community.
Responsibilities
- Work in an 8-suite OR with an average of 25-35 cases per day.
- Handle a variety of cases including general, orthopedic, neurological, spine, gynecology, ENT, eyes, urology, podiatry, vascular, and robotics.
- Scrubbing experience is preferred; scrubbing is required.
- Collaborate with a supportive manager often found rounding in the OR.
- Assist OR technicians with setting up rooms, collecting and organizing equipment, circulating cases, and handling room turnovers.
- Utilize Allscripts EMR for charting.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Required licenses: ACLS, BLS, PALS (CNOR preferred).
- General and orthopedic experience; GYN and eye experience preferred.
