About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and providing comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, critical care protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Perform suture procedures as needed for wound care.
• Assist in trauma medicine situations, ensuring timely response to emergencies.
• Utilize medical imaging systems effectively for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Mid-level ICU experience
• Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of ICD-10 coding
• Experience in ICU or critical care settings is preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining medical records
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with home care practices
• Knowledge of trauma medicine principles is advantageous.
