About the position
This position requires a Registered Nurse with Oncology experience. This position involves complex coordination of all aspects of care for the gynecologic patient population. This nurse will work in the Oncology clinics supporting three Gynecologic Oncologists practices. They will provide patient education including disease management, pre and post op education, chemo and radiation education. Will assist with procedures and perform patient triage including symptom management related to disease, chemo, surgery and radiation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of care for gynecologic patients.
- Provide patient education on disease management, pre and post-operative care, chemotherapy, and radiation.
- Assist with medical procedures as needed.
- Perform patient triage and manage symptoms related to disease, chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation.
Requirements
- A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN
- BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
