About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN Registered Nurse Med Surg for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hudson, FL. This is a permanent, full-time position for nights with rotating weekends. The role involves providing direct patient care to Medical-Surgical patients.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
- Active FL RN license required within 90 days if holding compact license
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Acute Care RN experience required
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Previous Med/Surg acute care experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Med/Surg patients
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Maintain and review patient records, including tests and examination results
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide quality patient care
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital standards
