About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN Manager – Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Davie, FL. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Labor & Delivery and PNU departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supervising staff, coordinating patient care, supporting quality initiatives, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License required
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery Management experience required
• Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date
• Current ACLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date
• Current NRP Certification required within 90 days of employment start date
• STABLE Certification required within 60 months of employment start date
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification required within 60 months of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Labor & Delivery and PNU departments
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including TJC, CMS, AHCA, and state requirements
• Supervise staff performance, scheduling, and departmental responsibilities
• Coordinate patient care services and departmental workflows
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and operational initiatives
• Manage department budgeting and resource allocation
• Collaborate with hospital administration and interdisciplinary teams
• Foster a positive, patient-centered, and team-oriented environment
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across all levels of care
