About the position

Eventide Fargo is seeking a Part-Time RN or LPN to provide high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts. The role involves assessing residents' health, implementing care plans, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a valid ND RN/LPN license and preferably some long-term care experience. This position includes a set schedule with holiday and weekend rotations, along with shift differentials for overnight and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for residents.
• Update and modify care plans as necessary, including interdisciplinary care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring their effectiveness.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established policies and standards.
• Document residents' care accurately in their records as per established policies.
• Provide leadership to subordinate staff, including disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Ensure work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Educate and support residents and their families regarding care and health needs.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels for scheduled shifts and assist in finding replacements when needed.
• Communicate residents' needs to all care staff on the unit.
• Interact with physicians and healthcare facilities as needed for resident care.
• Update nursing skills and knowledge through continuing education and in-services.
• Assist with resident care conferences and orientation of new team members.
• Encourage residents to attain their highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Report any incidents of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents' rights promptly.
• Comply with health department rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Active ND RN/LPN License or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Benefits

• Shift differential of $5 an hour for overnight shifts.
• Shift differential of $2 an hour for weekend hours.
