About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at BrightStar Care N. Charlotte/Huntersville is a critical role responsible for delivering high-quality home health clinical services. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the RN will ensure that care is provided in accordance with established standards and regulations. This position requires a commitment to quality and adequacy of services, with the RN often supervising staff and coordinating with other medical disciplines such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to meet the comprehensive needs of clients. The RN will conduct initial evaluations, regularly reassess nursing needs, and initiate and revise the Plan of Care as necessary, ensuring that all changes are communicated to the Director of Nursing and other relevant personnel. In addition to providing direct nursing care, the RN will prepare clinical and progress notes, inform the healthcare team of any changes in the patient's condition, and counsel clients and their families on nursing and related needs. The role also involves assisting in the development of organizational goals, administering agency policies, and participating in performance improvement activities. The RN will be expected to stay informed about changes in the nursing field and home health care, sharing relevant information with the team to promote best practices and improve service delivery.
