About the position
TotalWellness is seeking independent contractors for per diem health screenings and vaccination events. This role is ideal for nurses, phlebotomists, medical assistants, EMTs, or paramedics looking to supplement their income with flexible shifts that fit their schedules. The position emphasizes delivering a positive health message to employees at on-site wellness events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health screenings and vaccinations at various locations.
- Perform biometric screening skills including blood pressure, finger stick, height/weight measurements, and BMI calculations.
- Administer vaccinations as required (for nurses).
- Utilize computer and iPad for data entry and reporting.
- Lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods during events.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license/certification.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical/medical experience.
- Proficient in biometric screening skills.
- BLS Certification and CPR Certification required.
- Comfortable with computer and iPad usage.
Nice-to-haves
- Spanish speaking skills.
- Venipuncture skills.
