RN Hospice Admissions - Weekends
About The Position
Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients and families throughout Palm Beach County. This role offers a consistent weekend-only schedule—every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., making it an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking a three-day workweek, work–life balance during the week, or an alternative to traditional weekday schedules. Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has been honored to serve families across Palm Beach and Broward counties with compassionate, community-based care. Formed from the legacy of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County, we continue to provide comfort, dignity, and peace to those facing advanced illness.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification.
- Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Hospice certification preferred.
- Minimum of one year in public health, home nursing care, oncology nursing, medical/surgical nursing, geriatric nursing or Hospice nursing preferred.
- Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assess physical and psychosocial needs of patient and family.
- Apply characteristics of Hospice Nursing, case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, teaching skills, thanatology skills and needs.
