About the position
The RN - Home Health position at Five Rivers Medical Center involves providing direct and indirect patient care while representing the hospital and home health agency professionally. Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care.
- Supervise staff members as necessary.
- Assist the Director of Home Health with staff orientation.
- Teach, supervise, and counsel patients and caregivers on their unique needs.
- Plan and implement policies of the Hospital and Home Health Agency.
Requirements
- Current Arkansas Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of one year nursing experience, preferably in home health.
- Good physical assessment skills and efficiency in nursing skills.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous attitude.
- Ability to make responsible judgment calls and accept responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Hospital and Home Health Policies and Procedures.
- Ability to work closely with other members of the home health team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in home health care is preferred.
