About the position
Curing Hands Home Health is seeking a Per-Diem Registered Nurse to provide home health care services in East Los Angeles and surrounding areas. This role offers flexibility in scheduling while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN will be responsible for creating and implementing care plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams to maintain continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Perform home visits to provide nursing care to patients in East LA and surrounding areas.
- Create and implement individualized Plans of Care based on patient evaluations.
- Document patient care activities in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
- Participate in staff meetings and mandatory in-services to enhance professional development.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Current RN License in the state of California.
- Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required, with home health experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to document in a timely manner according to guidelines.
- Dependable, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties as required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in home health nursing preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese is a plus.
