About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN Float Pool (ICU Float Pool – MICU / SICU / CVICU) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati, OH. This position involves providing direct care to critically ill adult ICU patients across MICU, SICU, and CVICU. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, continuous monitoring, managing ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients, administering critical medications, responding to rapid changes in patient condition, assisting with invasive lines and procedures, collaborating with the healthcare team, ensuring accurate documentation, and educating patients' families.

Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Strong ICU or critical care experience preferred
  • Ability to work across multiple ICU specialties
  • Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
  • Experience in MICU, SICU, or CVICU preferred
  • Experience with ventilators and advanced hemodynamic monitoring preferred
  • Experience managing critical drips and ICU medications preferred
  • Strong teamwork in multidisciplinary critical care settings
  • Ability to float between multiple ICU units

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to critically ill adult ICU patients across MICU, SICU, and CVICU
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring
  • Manage ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients
  • Administer vasoactive drips, sedation, and critical IV medications
  • Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions
  • Assist with invasive lines, central lines, arterial lines, and ICU procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ICU teams
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to ICU protocols
  • Educate patients’ families regarding critical care status and treatment plans
  • Follow hospital policies, ANA standards, and Ohio Nurse Practice Act
