Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating the O.R. schedule.
- Consult in a variety of patient care situations requiring advanced competency and knowledge.
- Serve as a clinical resource for problem solving and assist staff with patient-related issues and emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other departments and multiple patient care services to facilitate case progression and ensure quality nursing care.
- Serve as a role model and assist in developing staff competence in nursing care delivery based on professional standards and policies.
- Identify non-compliance and demonstrate correct application of hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist in cost management, including participation in product evaluation and inventory management.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Two (2) years of operating room experience.
- BLS Certification.
