This position is for an ER Nurse who will be responsible for assessing patients' health, detecting changes in symptoms, and knowing when to take action. Responsibilities

  • Assess a patient's health and detect changes in symptoms, health, or pain.
  • Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients in various states of distress.
  • Maintain attention to detail while assisting doctors and administering medications.
  • Organize and prioritize care for multiple patients with differing needs.
  • Function effectively in high-pressure emergency situations.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and families to provide information and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associates in Nursing, or graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current certification/license in the State of Missouri.
  • Class B Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 90 days of employment, renewed biannually.

Nice-to-haves

  • One year of general or skilled nursing experience preferred.
