About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN - Emergency Department (Main) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves performing rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments in emergency settings, stabilizing and managing high-acuity adult patients with cardiac and medical emergencies, and implementing emergency interventions based on physician orders and clinical protocols. The position requires monitoring and interpreting vital signs, telemetry, and critical patient data, administering emergency medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions, and assisting in trauma response and critical care procedures. The role also includes coordinating care with physicians, trauma surgeons, and the multidisciplinary ED team, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in a fast-paced environment, and providing patient and family education during emergency visits and discharge, ensuring adherence to ANA standards and Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • PALS Certification (American Heart Association)
  • Minimum Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Strong emergency or acute care clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to perform under high-pressure, fast-paced conditions
  • Excellent critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
  • Prior Emergency Department (ED), ICU, or critical care experience preferred
  • Experience with high-acuity cardiac and internal medicine cases preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication in multidisciplinary environments
  • Ability to manage multiple critical patients simultaneously

Responsibilities
