About the position
The Staff RN PRN at McDuffie Campus is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, from birth through the lifecycle. This role involves utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while adhering to the organization's policies and procedures. The staff nurse is expected to maintain high standards of practice and coordinate care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
- Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain standards of practice in nursing care.
- Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff.
- Demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
