About the position
Millennium Physician Group seeks to hire a full-time / RN Clinical Supervisor to join the team in Fernandina Beach, FL. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, has the ability to multi-task, and think outside of the box. The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing clinical staff, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. The RN Clinical Supervisor will work closely with providers, administrative staff, and leadership to support the practice's mission and goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the clinical activities of the practice to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
- Oversee patient flow, clinical schedules, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
- Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Facilitate training and onboarding for new clinical staff to ensure seamless integration into the practice.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with providers and staff to address patient concerns and improve the overall patient experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and implement strategies to enhance clinical outcomes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to align with the practice's goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including patient records, staff schedules, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with administrative leadership to manage budgets, supplies, and equipment for the clinical team.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, providers, and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in practice leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
- Address and resolve operational challenges to maintain a smooth and efficient practice environment.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent (preferred).
- Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice (required).
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in a healthcare practice or outpatient setting is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other clinical software.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement practices.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
