About the position

Millennium Physician Group seeks to hire a full-time / RN Clinical Supervisor to join the team in Fernandina Beach, FL. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, has the ability to multi-task, and think outside of the box. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience! The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing clinical staff, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. The RN Clinical Supervisor will work closely with providers, administrative staff, and leadership to support the practice's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the clinical activities of the practice to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery.
  • Oversee patient flow, clinical schedules, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
  • Facilitate training and onboarding for new clinical staff to ensure seamless integration into the practice.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with providers and staff to address patient concerns and improve the overall patient experience.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and implement strategies to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to align with the practice's goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including patient records, staff schedules, and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with administrative leadership to manage budgets, supplies, and equipment for the clinical team.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, providers, and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in practice leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges to maintain a smooth and efficient practice environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent (preferred).
  • Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice (required).
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in a healthcare practice or outpatient setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other clinical software.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement practices.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
