Key responsibilities include managing staff schedules, time and attendance, offering daily coaching and support, and collaborating with the practice leader on performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Patient care duties encompass preparing patients and exam rooms, taking medical history and vitals, conducting patient testing, monitoring results, and assisting physicians with procedures. Patient follow-up includes identifying learning needs, providing education on medications and treatment plans, and addressing patient questions. The role also requires effective use of EMR for charting, charging, and data retrieval, as well as strong communication and teaming skills with patients, families, and staff. Professional development through continuing education is expected, along with efficient time management and flexibility. Leadership responsibilities include staff management and performance oversight.
