About The Position

FlexStaff is seeking a dedicated RN Clinical Coordinator for an Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role involves leading and supervising nursing care across Pre-Op, OR, and PACU, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality. The coordinator will collaborate with the Administrator on daily clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, develop infection control policies, drive Quality Improvement initiatives, and handle patient inquiries. The position offers a varied 5-day schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or major holidays, promoting work-life balance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Active RN license in New York State
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications
Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership in an acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery setting-ACS Experience a MUST
Prior management experience in a clinical environment
Strong understanding of Quality Improvement processes
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ethical character

Nice To Haves

At least 15 years of nursing experience, including management in high-acuity settings such as OR, PACU, or ambulatory surgery.
Experience in critical care units like ER or ICU.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise nursing care across Pre-Op, OR, and PACU, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality.
Collaborate closely with the Administrator to coordinate daily clinical operations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, laws, and standards.
Develop and implement infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
Drive Quality Improvement initiatives through our QAPI program.
Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and compassion.
Represent our healthcare delivery team in a positive, professional manner.
