About The Position

FlexStaff is seeking a dedicated RN with at least 15 years of nursing experience, including management in high-acuity settings such as OR, PACU, or ambulatory surgery. Experience in critical care units like ER or ICU is a plus. The client is looking for someone with leadership, expertise, and a commitment to quality care to be a vital part of their dynamic healthcare team. This role involves managing a vital role in a facility committed to excellence and patient safety, with a varied 5-day schedule, Monday through Friday, and no weekends or major holidays, promoting work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Active RN license in New York State
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership in an acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery setting-ACS Experience a MUST
  • Prior management experience in a clinical environment
  • Strong understanding of Quality Improvement processes
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ethical character

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in critical care units like ER or ICU

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise nursing care across Pre-Op, OR, and PACU, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Administrator to coordinate daily clinical operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, laws, and standards.
  • Develop and implement infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
  • Drive Quality Improvement initiatives through our QAPI program.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and compassion.
  • Represent our healthcare delivery team in a positive, professional manner.
