About the position
As a Cath Lab RN, you will assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac care. This role requires close monitoring of patients, checking vital signs during procedures, and administering care both during and after the procedures. Travel nurses work for a limited time at various locations, providing patient care and support while exploring new environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures
- Administer care during and after cardiac procedures
- Adapt quickly to changing environments and patient needs
- Provide patient care and support in various healthcare settings
Requirements
- 1-2 years recent experience in cardiac care
- Active nursing license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
- Additional certifications as requested by the specific facility/unit
- Enthusiastic and adventurous spirit with a desire to help
