About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN – Cardiac Telemetry Services for an exciting Travel or Local job in Independence, Missouri. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with rotating day and night shifts available, including weekends. The role involves coordinating and providing therapeutic and administrative patient care services, delivering nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, and caring for adult and geriatric patients requiring telemetry and step-down monitoring. The position requires developing advanced knowledge in cardiac monitoring, psychosocial and therapeutic care, and step-down patient management, as well as identifying risks, hazards, and supporting patient safety initiatives. The role also involves monitoring and analyzing cardiac rhythms, recognizing arrhythmias and acute changes, responding effectively during emergencies, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Current Missouri RN License OR Compact State RN License
- BLS Certification required upon hire
- ACLS Certification required within 1 year of hire
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide therapeutic and administrative patient care services
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Care for adult and geriatric patients requiring telemetry and step-down monitoring
- Develop advanced knowledge in cardiac monitoring, psychosocial and therapeutic care, and step-down patient management
- Identify risks, hazards, and support patient safety initiatives
- Support patients under age 16 until stabilized for transfer when necessary
- Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms
- Recognize arrhythmias and acute changes
- Respond effectively during emergencies
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
