About the position
The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The position is located in 5 Towers, a 21-bed advanced heart failure intermediate unit specializing in congestive heart failure, pre- and post-heart transplant, left ventricular assist devices, and the treatment and management of pulmonary arterial hypertension. The shift options available are part-time, from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associates's degree from accredited college or University
