Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Participation in the nurse residency program for all new graduate RNs
- New-hire Associate degree registered nurses must start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete it within three (3) years.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- One (1) year of patient care experience in specialty area
