About the position

The Part-Time Transportation Dispatcher at Ralphs, a part of Kroger, is responsible for supporting the distribution center's transportation department by coordinating and dispatching over-the-road drivers. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch over-the-road drivers.
• Understand and display the Customer 1st Strategy at all times.
• Adapt to technological programs and requirements pertaining to the job.
• Understand the processing and execution of orders, setting up equipment, drivers, and backhauls.
• Trace, track, and locate shipments inbound or outbound.
• Initiate schedules and correspondences with drivers, operations, vendors, and buyers.
• Communicate with all levels of the business, displaying trust and competency at all times.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
