We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Assessment Manager (SME) to lead and implement AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) risk assessments in line with regulatory requirements. This role will focus on updating and executing the risk assessment methodology in accordance with a Written Agreement. The Risk Assessment Manager will oversee a team of analysts to ensure comprehensive risk reviews and assessments are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of updated risk assessment methodologies for AML and OFAC, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all matters related to AML and OFAC risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all risk assessment methodologies align with organizational risk frameworks and regulatory standards.
  • Manage a team of risk analysts to perform detailed risk evaluations, ensuring high-quality analysis and timely delivery.
  • Develop a timeline and implementation plan for conducting AML and OFAC risk assessments.
  • Communicate progress and key findings to senior management and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in AML and OFAC risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on AML and OFAC risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading risk assessment teams and implementing risk frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to AML and OFAC.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
