The City of Grand Junction is seeking a qualified candidate with municipal experience who can effectively manage risk and safety programs across our thirteen departments and promote a culture of safety within our organization. As the Risk and Safety Administrator, you will develop program goals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with safety legislation and industry practices. You will also conduct investigations and safety audits and provide a training curriculum to minimize worker injury and property damage. Reporting directly to the Risk and Safety Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of a Safety Coordinator and work collaboratively with Risk Management. The successful candidate will have considerable experience leading safety programs, strong technical and field experience, and demonstrate a proven ability to build relationships with staff at all levels within the organization.
