About the position

The Ride Operator Ambassador position at Busch Gardens Tampa is a part-time role designed for minors aged 16-17. The primary focus of this position is to provide exceptional guest service while ensuring safety and compliance with park regulations. The role involves monitoring rides, assisting guests, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service while delivering thrills and excitement.
• Monitor rides and follow all safety regulations.
• Ensure guests meet ride admission requirements.
• Assist in loading and unloading guests from rides.
• Interact with guests while implementing park safety guidelines.
• Participate in American Red Cross and organization audit processes.
• Attend in-service meetings and cross-train to work in other park areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned area.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Report unsafe situations.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Strong English language communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• A commitment to great customer service.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable with heights.
• Must successfully pass the company provided and paid American Red Cross certification trainings to include CPR and AED.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
