About the position

Battelle is seeking a Radio Frequency Design Engineer to work in the Electronic Warfare group within the National Security Division. The position is located at Battelle Headquarters in Columbus, OH. The RF Design Engineer will be responsible for participating in the development of complex RF systems, instruments, and components for utilization in cyber and Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions. The applicant should have demonstratable experience with RF designs implemented at a circuit board level integrated into larger systems via a combination of experience, coursework, internships and personal projects. This position will work closely with antenna engineers on state-of-the-art phased array antennas, requiring a solid foundational understanding of antenna design and phased array applications including Electronic Beam Steering (EBS) and Direction Finding (DF). A successful candidate will be capable of assisting in the creation of technical presentations and reports, working near-autonomously on under-defined problems, and participating in client interactions and field tests.
