About The Position

Amazon is looking for a Reverse Logistics Coordinator to support the non-inventory movement of new/used technology returns to Global RAD Operation sites (GRO) around the world. This role is focused on reducing the global spend on technology. The position provides timely resolution to issues by researching and querying internal tools, making real-time decisions, and communicating effectively with stakeholders via phone, Chime, or email. The ideal candidate will understand issues, drive customer experience without compromising time, and possess a basic understanding of logistics with clear verbal and written communication skills. The role requires internal communication with various teams in different countries (Operations, Supply Chain, AMZL) and external communication with Logistics Service Providers and Carriers. The coordinator will be the primary point of contact for the global Reverse Logistics ticketing queue, resolving customer issues related to Equipment Returns, Lifecycle, and Liquidation Requests.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of transportation and supply chain experience
  • 3+ years of Amazon experience

Responsibilities

  • Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (FBA, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers, IT Field Team).
  • Create narratives outlining findings on tickets/requests on shipment inquiries and updating correspondence on tickets to keep the customer informed at each step of the way.
  • Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
  • Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazon’s transportation operations.
  • Systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
  • Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
  • Scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon tech teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools we use.
  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly metrics and performances dashboards as requested.
  • Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make decisions based on available data.
