About the position

The Retirement Participant Education & Enrollment Specialist for the Tax Exempt Market will be responsible for delivering on-site education for Plan Sponsor Participants. This includes conducting educational seminars/webinars focusing on Plan features and investments, as well as general investment-oriented and retirement-related seminars. The role involves meeting one-on-one with employees and retirees to conduct financial advisory investment counseling sessions, interfacing with Plan Administration, legal counsel, and Plan Sponsors to identify, resolve, and respond to participant issues, and working with Plan Sponsors to increase participation among their employees. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the development and implementation of presentation material, assisting in scheduling retirement seminars/one-on-one appointments, maintaining compliance with all firm and FINRA regulatory requirements, and potentially providing guidance and training to more junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site education for Plan Sponsor Participants.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retirement/financial services
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63, 65
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information and develops alternative solutions
  • Looks for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Strong organization skills; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to travel
