About the position

Tecovas is looking for a Retail Training Coordinator to support the implementation and coordination of Tecovas Retail Training programs. Reporting directly to the Retail Training Manager, you will ensure smooth content delivery and maintain training administration across all Tecovas retail locations. This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an organized calendar of retail training events and communicate schedules effectively to all stakeholders
  • Maintain and organize all content for Training Area of Responsibility (AOR) and training materials
  • Coordinate training schedules, materials, and resources for new store openings to ensure seamless onboarding and preparedness of retail staff
  • Assist with product education and supporting materials to ensure content remains engaging, accurate, and supportive to field employees
  • Support the delivery of new hire and various trainings for Operations, Hospitality, and our Spirit of the West service program initiatives
  • Regularly audit training resources to ensure alignment with current company goals and retail best practices
  • Provide first-level support for the learning management system(s) (LMS) and Knowledge Library questions
  • Maintain accurate records of training completion, attendance, and assessments in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to refresh training content and ensure its timely distribution to all retail locations
  • Compile and report on key training metrics, such as attendance, completion rates, and knowledge assessment results
  • Gather feedback from training participants and managers to assess the effectiveness of sessions and identify areas for improvement
  • Bring new insights and ideas to the team to continue to improve the training function

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience as a Training Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience in coordinating training and/or retail leadership experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and LMS/Intranet platforms
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Visual Media is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for new store openings and training oversight
