About the position

The Retail Sales Associate at Copped will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This position involves assisting customers with their purchases, managing inventory, and contributing to sales goals in a dynamic resale store setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist customers with purchases, including answering questions about products, demonstrating products, and making recommendations.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
• Manage inventory, including receiving and stocking shipments, and identifying and reporting discrepancies.
• Utilize retail math skills to calculate prices, ring up purchases, and manage sales and promotions.
• Upsell and promote products and services to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Supervise and assist other sales associates as needed.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, managers, and customers in a bilingual capacity.
• Meet and exceed sales targets through effective communication and product knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operation of a cash register.
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Basic knowledge of retail math and inventory management.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong knowledge of sneakers and streetwear.
