About the position

The Team Member position in Retail Operations is focused on providing exceptional customer experiences, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store standards. The role involves various responsibilities including customer service, sales tracking, ear piercing, visual merchandising, product management, and communication within the team. Team Members are expected to embody the Lovisa brand and culture while ensuring a clean and safe store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional experiences to every customer using the Sell with Style steps.
  • Professionally resolve all customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Share product knowledge for the current add-on when styling customers.
  • Complete customer bag checks when required.
  • Understand store targets and track performance daily.
  • Assist in achieving store sales and performance indicators.
  • Track sales hourly using the store diary.
  • Continuously improve on all company KPIs.
  • Utilize tools within the store diary to achieve KPI benchmarks.
  • Understand the proper use of the mechanical stud and clasp ear device for ear piercing.
  • Provide safe and sanitary ear piercing to customers.
  • Assist in merchandising and housekeeping.
  • Execute floor updates, range updates, and promotions as per planogram.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the store at all times.
  • Log maintenance issues through the 'Service Desk' within 24 hours.
  • Conduct regular store walks to ensure safety.
  • Process stock according to company standards.
  • Complete stock audits daily/weekly by end of day Friday.
  • Ensure product is organized and replenished according to Lovisa standards.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by adhering to the Lovisa Style Guide.
  • Maintain open lines of communication within the store and respond to emails and calls promptly.
  • Comply with all aspects of the Lovisa Employee and Security Manuals.
  • Maintain security awareness according to Lovisa policy.
  • Use daily cash-up sheets to ensure cash register balances.

Requirements

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong understanding of sales targets and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of ear piercing procedures and safety.
  • Experience in merchandising and housekeeping.
  • Ability to process and manage stock according to company standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and proactivity in style.
