About the position

The Retail Sales Associate at Oakley is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a rewarding shopping experience for customers. This part-time role involves meeting sales goals, assisting customers with product knowledge, and maintaining the store's appearance and inventory. The associate plays a crucial role in the store's success by fostering a friendly environment and supporting team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging every customer.
• Aids customers in locating merchandise and finding suitable solutions based on their needs.
• Achieves high levels of sales performance and results.
• Assists in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
• Helps with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping of the sales floor and stock room.
• Rings up sales at registers and/or bags merchandise.
• Learns and operates current company POS systems.
• Performs any other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience dealing with the public.
• Ability to read, write, count, and communicate effectively with store staff and customers.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Computer proficiency and cash register experience.
• Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room.
• Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Physical activities include engaging in repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, twisting, stretching, squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, reaching, and/or using a step stool frequently.
