The Retail Sales Associate position at Flowers Baking Company is a part-time role focused on providing excellent customer service while managing various retail tasks. Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and ensure product availability.
- Run the cash register and handle cash transactions.
- Assist customers with inquiries and purchases.
- Check in Independent Distributor's sales.
- Make bank deposits and obtain change as needed.
- Count down the cash drawer at the end of shifts.
- Price items using a pricing gun.
- Learn to open and close the store independently.
- Conduct weekly and monthly inventory checks, which may require staying after shifts.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
- Willingness to travel to other stores periodically.
- Good mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods.

- Previous retail experience is preferred.
