The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot Inc. is a part-time role focused on providing comprehensive solutions to customers, including products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The Team Lead will engage with customers to drive sales, ensure satisfaction, and may perform key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing the store.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient operation in the Print function while driving overall store sales.
- Assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to ensure client orders are completed correctly and on-time.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and visual merchandising standards.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
- Drive positive client satisfaction levels through coaching and training associates.
- Support community outreach initiatives to enhance customer retention.
- Perform opening or closing responsibilities as a Key Carrier, ensuring safety and security during the absence of management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in sales and/or customer service.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use technology for job-related tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish selling relationships with customers.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and assist others professionally.
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality production in the Print Services area.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Print Services would be desired.
- Advanced selling skills are preferred.
