About the position

The Retail Sr. Store Associate-Part Time plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences by actively engaging with customers and recommending suitable products and services. This position is focused on creating a vibrant sales culture, maintaining high visual and merchandising standards, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Sr. Store Associate is expected to have advanced knowledge in print and technology products/services, applying effective sales principles to foster customer interactions and contribute to business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
  • Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services.
  • Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
  • Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
  • Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes.
  • Ensures freight sorting area is organized and setup in accordance with guidelines.
  • Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily.
  • Works to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and supports the company's loss prevention efforts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Retail sales experience preferred, but no previous experience required.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and G-Mail.
  • Ability to use computers and technology for information access necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation and process inventory.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to establish a selling relationship with customers and other employees.
  • Enjoys interacting with people.
