About the position
The Retail Merchandiser position at SPAR involves providing merchandising services to various clients in a flexible work environment. The role focuses on tasks such as product resets, inventory management, and maintaining display standards, allowing for a part-time schedule that accommodates the needs of both the company and the employee.
Responsibilities
- Meet with Site or Department Manager to review service call objectives
- Locate and manage product displays
- Remove old products from displays
- Complete full inventory and scanning
- Validate product stocking and merchandising using planograms
- Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards
- Possibly travel from store to store for setup and display of merchandise
- Complete call forms and upload photos taken
Requirements
- Merchandising and/or retail experience
- Available weekday daytime hours
- Ability to understand plan-o-grams
- Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
- Internet access with an active email address
- Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting
- Reliable transportation for travel between stores
