About the position

The Front End Supervisor is responsible for overseeing front-of-store activities and ensuring compliance with company policies while providing excellent customer service. This part-time role involves supervising sales associates, managing transactions, and maintaining a professional environment to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a professional environment for customers and sales associates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during transactions.
  • Issue associate discounts, price overrides, and gift certificates as needed.
  • Train and supervise Sales Associates and Secondary Front End Associates.
  • Supervise adherence to front-end policies and procedures.
  • Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage at the front end/service desk.
  • Coordinate pre-screening of applicants with store management.
  • Maintain merchandising standards for register end caps and inboards.
  • Keep the front end/service desk area organized and safe.
  • Communicate corporate, associate, and customer issues to store management promptly.
  • Handle damages and returns according to company procedures.
  • Operate a cash register as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months supervisory experience required.
  • Customer service desk experience required.
  • Experience in a related retail environment preferred.
