About the position
The Retail Field Auditor position is accountable for conducting audits based on company compliance metrics. Due to the scope of responsibilities, this individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, time management skills, and attention to detail. The overall goal of this position is to ensure our Home Center Managers are operating their respective location within the company's established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full audits of Home Centers using the Audit Scorecard and associated Audit Scorecard Rules and Guidelines.
- Ensure compliance to all CMH operations policy and procedures.
- Willingness to travel extensively, generally four nights per week away from home.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Competent in all areas of a Home Center audit
- Strong business analyst skills
- Ability to read and interpret profit and loss statements and other reports
- Strong working knowledge of all CMH operational systems including Link, CSS, AP, reports, allowance schedule, inventory management, payroll, and parts (bill-backs)
- Strong written business communication skills
- Ability to utilize basic business management software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word as well as all CMH proprietary software
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
