The Retail Customer Service Cashier at Love's Travel Stops & Country Store plays a crucial role in providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service by assisting customers in finding items and answering questions about products and services.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and promoting additional sales opportunities while adhering to state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Maintain cleanliness in the working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, including completing trash runs.
- Participate in cross-training for other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility to perform various duties based on business needs.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Willingness to work in various temperatures.
